Yesterday turned out to be so much busier than I anticipated. Braeden and I left the house in the early afternoon to get painting supplies at Lowes for my new bedroom. Next came a quick trip to Walmart for a few necessities as well as a gift for his friend Lance's birthday party today. Just as I was leaving Walmart, Eric called asking for us to pick him up at the truckyard, he was home for the evening and had to leave out 5am Thursday. As soon as I got off the phone with him, it rang again. This time it was Mom. The camp nurse had been trying to get ahold of me to come get Eliana. She was running a fever and felt miserable. I ended up having Mom get Eric from work so I could run to get Eliana from camp. She was running a temp over 101 and looked so sick, poor baby. We got lost on the way home... the camp is really out in the middle of nowhere. Finally, 5 hours after leaving home and about 100 miles, we were home. I was exhauseted and convinced that my poor sore swollen ankles were going to split the skin open, it was so bad. I let Eric take care of sick Eliana for a couple hours while I soaked in the hottub for some relief. Even 2 hours later I was still swollen, albiet not nearly as bad. Today we took Eliana to the doctor. Her ear is looking better. Throat cultures are negative since is she is already on antibiotics. Her throat is red and raw. It hurts for her to talk and swallow. In the meantime, she is resting, drinking and trying to eat soft stuff. Poor baby. She wants to try camp again next year though. It just really sucks that this all had to happen THIS week. It is noone's fault but I hate that she missed out on 2.5 days of camp that we paid for. On tomorrow's agenda... painting. I am excited to get my room done but not looking forward to how sore I will be and how swollen I will end up.

hope she feels better soon.
@opster25@momaroo - This evening she finally is headache free and her throat does not hurt and she ate her first full meal all week
.@sandburm - Thanks for the well wishes. Eric was home for a few hours and then for bedtime but it was a nice little treat to see him in the middle of the week. He is going to be home again at 3 in the morning until Monday evening. She enjoyed most of camp. Her only real complaint was that the counselors were not consistent between what they said was going to happen and what they actually did. Guess that is week one for you.
hey quick question I was under the impresion it was extremlly unsafe for the baby in a hot tub? Our doctors even said no HOT baths for me. I was just curious if your dr. had a different opinon on this.
@just4bees - glad she is feeling better. We didn't stop cuase I had to come to work yesterday I left the house at 7:30 am and got back here at 5:30 and had to be to work at 6:00. It was a long day of me sorry..
@opster25@momaroo -
Mine
is only set to go up to 98 degrees and I do not use the jets so the
midwife said it is fine. Very true you do not want to atke hot bath,
shower, hot tub because the heat not good for baby in pregnancy but
since the water is the same temp as my body it is perfectly fine, :)
I understand. No worries.
@just4bees - O ok .. just wondering
