  • Are we done yet???

I was miserable last night, awake at least once an hour for no good reason. Didn't even need to pee usually. I am having crying fits a few times a day. Come on Garrett, there is so much more room out here.

On a plus note, the movie trailer for 5th Quarter just came out. The kids and I were extras during filming last fall. I do not know if we had made the cut yet but I cannot wait to see the movie. It is based on a true story.

Did you experience this before the other 2 were born? I was just wondering if it means it's time for the little guy to make his appearance. It's good that you have great helpers in Eliana and Braeden. Put your feet up and rest when you can.
Did the box of stuff come yet? Oh, and another thing, did you have any trouble with using the ecard at JC Penney? I didn't think to ask if you had a printer to make a copy; I just assumed you did. If you need, I can print you a copy and mail it to you.
I'm looking forward to seeing the movie also, just to see you and the kids.
     Love to all, Me.

@sandburm - With Braeden I was miserable at the end, begging to be induced, but he was 2 weeks late. With Eliana, I remember wanting to have her already but also concentrating on my Grandmother down the street who had just gotten home from hospital so I was sufficiently distracted. I am just so tired of my ribs always hurting, unrelenting. Plus I really would like for him to come when Eric is here and the thought he will wait until Eric is just on his way out of town for the week eats me up. Trying to stay positive, I know Garrett cannot stay in here forever but I get weak at times.

Yes, the package arrived this week. Everything was super cute. Thank you so much, especially for the fact that the sizes are a bit larger. I spent the past couple days sorting through and washing clothes from my BFF Leslye and from Clarissa and from the shower and the couple things I just had to buy myself and, by golly, Leslye really loaded me up on the 0-3 months from her twins and I have a good start on 3-6 so it was great to see cute things to look forward to a little down the road. I have a T.Y. card addressed but was waiting for Eric to come home so he could see everything too.

I am glad you mentioned the e-card. I am really bad at checking that email account and had not seen it (there were nearly 300 new emails in there). I do have a printer and will see about getting it printed tomorrow. Thank you so much, it is so very kind of you and much appreciated. Not exactly sure what it will be used for as of yet but it is a great comfort to know that when the inevitable occurs and we realize we do not have something that will end up being important, it will not be a struggle to get it.

I will let you know when we see the movie if I notice us in it at all. We are just part of the crowd and were only there for one of the half dozen crowd shooting days. I will certainly also be buying the DVD when it comes out and be looking frame-by-frame to try to find us. If we are in it, I may have to send you and autographed copy, LOL. I do know for sure that some friends of ours from down here made the cut in some bigger scenes as well as the croud. They are big movie buffs, have been in several as extras and one works for an alumni from the college it was shot at so they got placed in some special scenes. You can see one of them right behind and to the left of Andie McDowell in the stadium scene in the trailer... he is the big guy with the reddish goatee and yellow wig.

    *hugs*

@just4bees - I'm so sorry that you feel so badly, wish I could be there to help out. Being in pain like you are from your previous injuries is no fun at all, but to be so near term in all this heat has to be a bear! Do you have someone nearby who can help when the time comes, in case Eric is not home at the time?
I'm glad the things arrived okay. I got them a bit larger, knowing that he would have plenty from Leslye and Clarissa; but especially since it will be too hot for him to want to be in anything more than a diaper for the first month or so. By the time things cool down a bit, he will be big enough for them. They were so cute though, I just couldn't resist them.
I don't know if the ecard has an expiration date on it, but maybe you can use some of it for something else that maybe you or the kids might need. Or maybe something Garrett might need for the winter. Kids of all ages have a tendency to outgrow clothes.
Hey, an autographed copy of your movie? WOW, thanks!!!!  :D  A big guy with reddish goatee and yellow wig standing near Andie McDowell, huh?  Hmmm, I'll try not to miss that!!  LOL!!!
Well, my dear, I hope your little man behaves himself, and soon comes out to see his new world. Just tell him he needs a bigger room; and to just look at who he has been kicking all this time!  ;)
Hang in there, Hon; here's a hug for you.....

@opster25@momaroo - Yes, I have gone through about everything and just am finished washing. Now to fold and put away. Since Ty is growing so quick it looks like the seasons will line up nicely for now. Eric can't get over that little little pair of shoes! Since she has the twins, Leslye set me up with a TON of newborn and 0-3 month, especially onesies and sleepsack, which is great since we all did not know about Garrett until after Ty outgrew that and it was already passed on to other folks. It does come in handy and useful, thank you. It is good you have the option to work extra to help out. Eric is doing okay again in trucking. Certainly not as well as last year with DOT Foods in NY but it is steady. We are glad however to be able to utilize Angelfood. A week of food for $30 has been so handy.

@sandburm - Yes, my Mom is about a mile from us. She and the kids will be there for the birth and I know she will help out with whatever I need, it would still be nicest though for Eric to be here. We got a new cell plan that allows us texts so in the very least I can send out updates as they happen and send him pics of the arrival. We do have AC so are quite comfortable despite the weather. Except for the really humid days though, I really prefer to be outside. I do not seem to mind the heat in the least and all this glorious sun is a very large part of why we moved here from NY, it is so good for my mood and health. We do usually wait until the evening though to do strenuous things like walking the dog just so we do not have to loaded down with water bottles or get too tired. I took a look at the ecard "terms" and found this: "JCPenney Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards have no expiration date.  Any unused balance will remain on your Gift Card/e-Gift Card.  No service fees are deducted." It was an excellent thought to check though, thanks. And I will probably use some of it for school clothes for the kids next month.

  • opster25@momaroo

@just4bees - that is great, I know he had some really nice outfits in there to. I am glad you guys are able to get school clothes for the kids, We are going to try to do the angel food thing next month since tommarow is the deal line for this month and we just do not have the $30. So i am going to the food bank tommarrow. since we have been here it has never been this tight and then with prices going up it is crazy. We are hoping to save some and go to the outlet store to get some clothes atleast one or two outfits for the frist day. Anyhow enough rambling on your blog I am going to get off here and get the chicken going for dinner.O yes was that diaper stacker in the bags of stuff that we gave you?

  • just4bees

@opster25@momaroo - yup, I just pulled it out yesterday.

  • opster25@momaroo

@just4bees - o good I wanted to make sure it was there. I told you could have it and I could not find it here.

  • opster25@momaroo

@just4bees - i have been wondering can they induce around Eric's home time? That is what they did for dan, with Katie.  Matter of fact they would have schudled mckenna's birth had it not been an ER delivery. We had planed her on a friday so he would not be in school. But we had her on tuseday cause of my BP.The same reason as ty, Just curious. Although cause katie was elective we had to wait till I was 39 weeks (but befor 39.5)

  • just4bees

They could induce, sure. I am really trying for an unmedicated, intervention free birth. We will see what changes after I go late :(

  • opster25@momaroo

@just4bees - O ok. I just thought you wanted to make sure erick was there and it was a problem.

  • just4bees

@opster25@momaroo - I would love for him to be here and we are all hoping for that but more important is that this little guy makes a safe entrance into the world and if I could afford it, that would have been with a direct entry midwife at home but since I have to use insurance and therefore hospital, I need for the birth to be as hands off as I can manage.

  • opster25@momaroo

@just4bees - Ok well we have different opinons here so I am going to just not even go there. ;)
