another quickie
Eliana had a belated birthday party. She invited a few friends over for trick-or-treat and a sleepover. Everyone had a good time even though the t-o-t was terrible due to rain. We did a pinata though so that made up for the candy issue. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and fake margaritas that I fixed for them. Braeden served as a butler while they were in the hot tub. I woke up Sunday morning with a terrible sinus cold, still managed to produce a breakfast pizza that disappeared quickly to rave reviews. I spent the rest of Sunday on the couch. By that evening Garrett was fussing and refusing to nurse. Took him to the doctor this morning. He does not have an ear infection but his ear is inflamed so they prescribed an antibiotic to prevent an ear infection since the inflammation was interfering with his nursing. Garrett now weighs 15lbs even at 13wks, 2days. He is such a happy boy and is learning to laugh. He laughs at such random things though. Ok, getting my sick body off to bed now and will try to add pictures and more news soon.

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Update
Jenni was able to meet her fundraising goal, thanks in part to those of you who donated to her via my posts. Thank you so much. It was a great year for her as she was able to complete all 39 miles of the walk for the 1st time... YAY JENNI! Mom, the kids and I traveled down to Charlotte to visit with her after the closing ceremonies. It was great to see and congratulate her and talk. I hope to see her again soon and wish her luck with next year when she will walk in Boston.

Avon Breast Cancer Walk
My
good friend Jenni is raising funds for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer
and could really use some support. Even if you only have a few dollars to spare, it would really help a wonderful cause. Thanks. Please visit her profile. Avon Walk for Breast Cancer
"The Avon Journey
This will be my 5th year doing the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. The first year that I did the breast cancer walk, I did not know anyone. It didn’t take long for me to find an amazing woman to share my journey with. Her name…Sue Darling. Sue and I did the walk for three years and last year we crewed instead of walking, but this year we are back at the walk! Sue has had a challenging year. Her sister Mary is battling cancer and I know that it has been incredibly emotional for Sue. I can’t imagine what Sue or Mary have gone through this year, but I intend to train hard, raise money, and pray that with the work that Sue and I do for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer it will help make it so that less woman have to go through what Sue and her sister have gone through this year. With each step I take of the 39 miles that I intend to walk this year, I will be thinking of the many women that fight this disease every year. Every year I walk for my mom, she is a four year survivor. This year I walk not only for mom, but also for Mary, Joan, Vicky and Josephine. Each of these women are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong!
